In X-country 2008,
I managed to enjoy myself most... When I reached the place, Lihui and others forgot about me and went in themselves. Luckily I waited for Panhua and we got into
Chinese garden to assemble at the 'areana'. We then received our Class Tee... It's great despite a last minute adjustment by Shah. We go number tag. Panhua: 323. Me: 329.
Sooner than we thought, it was our turn [Sec 4/5 girls] - we are the last batch of people to run the 3.6km. Panhua and I went to the toilet first just in case we need it during the race. Then the dreaded gun sounded. Time to run. Haha. I started with such reluctance but when I eneded, I felt like running again. It's just me. I am forever like this. Haha. Along the run, I joked with the medic team at station 8 or 9 if I am not wrong about hamburgers. They were thinking of selling their supply at $10 each. I shouted lame at one of the signboards that was meant to tempt us not to stop. It reads "Tired? Thirtsy? There is icy cold milo at the finish line. 2.5km completed." It's
DAMN lame.
Then at last 200m, Mr Siew was like "Yuan Lin jia you, going to finish soon liao." Haha. Then I saw Nicholas and Zafiq - my badminton juniors. He was sprinting with me and encouraging me all the way. I chiong to the finish line. I finished behind Esther - 4G.
In the end I finished number 53rd out of possibly 100+ girls. So I could only say I am quite balaced, in terms of sports and academic. Haha. LOL!
Later, Shah, Lihui, Aneesah, Ross and I heded to Jurong Point. On the way out of Chinese Garden, Aneesah and Ross taught us some Indian. LOL. It was damn funny. Ad we realized the greatness of ethnic diversity. Waaa... LOL. Aneesah and Ross intended to go somewhere else and was muddle-headed enough to board the wrong mrt. Haha. This was in a midst of chaos. I think the mrts are packed with Gessians on the way to Chinese Garden and on the way back. LOL. Well, I don't want to go shopping anymore with anyone. I get more tired than I ran the race. Diaon but really. My god man, shopping is worse than running a 10km marathon - to me.
We saw badminton rackets ranging from $19.90 to $445.90. It's freaking expensive. Lihui's trying to get a new racket to replace her $29.90 racket. Then finally, Aneesah and Ross went off and we went to Long John Silver to get food. I got my free meal from the scratch thing that I won. They cheated me of 30cents lol. We saw Gessians everywhere. 5B was like having an outing. We saw Meiliana and group a couple of times[4G]. We saw Robin and group[4C]. I saw Jessica and group a couple of times too[2G].Then after, Shah and Lihui went to Bugis to visit Kinokuniya while I went home. I slept till 6pm. Haha.
Oh ya, I had my hair cut. Haha. My ponytail is very short now. I have the 2nd longest hair in my class and now I have the shortest ponytail. LOL. Haha.
Seeya guys.
