Sorry about not posting for so long... Haha... was busy... Anyway... Perth was great!
Day 1 - on plane
About 4 to 6 hours on the plane... I was sitting beside Sherly and Li Hui is sitting next to her... haha... Jing wen was so far. On the plane was 3 by 3 by 3 seater. Nothing to do there except watch movies and play games. At first I play their games, Pokemon: sliver,gold and yellow... Kirby adventure... Then I was tired... go sleep. Half-way... Awoken by air stewardess to have before breakfast snack. They offered tuberlone [duno how to spell] and sandwich. Luckily I took only the tuberlone, otherwise I cant finish the breakfast like Sherly and Li Hui... I took the egg omelette as breakfast... It was nice...
Day 2
Actually we were to do river studies but a change of plans. We basically travelled the whole day... Well... We visited a school, St Andrews' Junior School. The students there are very friendly... Lots of beautiful girls and handsome boys... haha... We toured around the schools [seniors, juniors and erm... kindergarden? not sure...]. Their classes are smaller than ours, actually > or = to half of ours... Then they taught us how to play their local Auzzie football... My partner and I had lots of fun... Oohh and Lunch was muffins and sandwiches made by the students there... They were so delicious...! Then It was time to go... We gave them our gifts as gratitude... After all that, we toured around perth... and basically till night came... Our hotel was located at the corner which most of us objected mentally... Oh almost forgot... Jing Wen bought a Koala at a souvenir shop and at night she goes "My Koala" -ing till we reach Singapore.
Day 3
We had our breakfast and off we go to the Pinnacles National park! We had a stop at the Yanchep National Park for a Koala and Kangeroo visit. The Koala was very fluffly... And Jing Wen go "So CUte..." haha... The kangeroos hopped away as we approached them... We had to navigate through a 'minefield' to get to the kangeroos and to get back... Pinnacles park was quite far and well I sleep all the way... But first... We went Sandboarding!!!! It was so FUN!!! But climbing up is the tiring part... haiz... I climbed up >10 times... The wind there keep whipping up sand into most peoples' eyes, mouth, nose, ears, hair, etc... haiz... And to think that the sand is 'crunchy and salty'... I had sand in my shoe until NOW!... Then the Pinnacles Park... That place was like a desert[somewhat like the sabaku(desert) surrounding the village of Suna(sand) in Naruto]... Haha... The Pinnacles come in all shape and sizes... The inhabitants-animals are weird looking as well... We learnt so much before heading back to Perth... Same Hotel... Metro Hotel...
Day 4
We had our breakfast and proceed to Frementle... The first place we visited was the Monument Hill Memorial reserve... We took alot of photos... And that is the place I officially become the camera woman... Sec 2 ppl ask me to help them even Sheeann they all also... Haiz... It was Freezing COLD THERE...No heat pack... Hands will 'die'... haha... We went to the Frementle Market which sells exotic stuff... I bought alot of souvenirs! Then We were to conduct a survey of >10 questions on the tourist there... We meet RI and RGS students there... They were there for an Art trip. Then we walk continuously around the place and got our surveys filled up... We went shopping! So tiring... It was time for lunch... THe Fish and Chip was such a big serving that I could hardly finish... But I finished :P. Then We went to the macademia Nuts Plantation to see the machinery works and to buy some of the products themselves. I bought BBQ and honey coated macademia nuts adn a bottle of body oil for my mom... Speaking of moms, I found out that Li Hui's mom knows about no life and LOL... She pronouce LOL like Li Hui... LOL! Haha... We should have a worm Farm Experience at the Hotel but the person supposed to come got sick... LOL... Then bath and sleep...
Day 5
After Breakfast, we transfer to Albany... It was a very long trip approximately 7 hrs... Enroute, we had our little river hands on experience in which most of us frooze... The water is icy cold... The wind itself is cold. That day I estimate it to be 8 degree celsius... Our feet get numb after a few seconds... And to think we have to stay there for a few minutes. But our feet are too numb to even feel the coldness... I even sat on the river bank... So sad... haha... After we change and all, Albany here we come. On the way we watch movies. I think i fell asleep. By the time we reach Albany, it was about 3 to 4pm... After visiting the Gap and the Natural Brigde, it rained... Perth and Albany have brillant sunsets and sunrises... Although it rained in Albany, the sunset is still beautiful. Then, We went to the Wind farm. The majestic-looking Wind mills turned continuously. The blade is = to a wing span of a Boeing 747 plane. Learning more about them and taking more pictures we then went off to our motel.
Day 6
Breakfast and proceed on to the Valley of Giants. We walked the tree top walk... Compared to Malaysia's, their treetop walk seemed more stable... Malaysia's is like leader + wooden plank + safety net... Theirs are Steel made. Then the Ancient Empire walk. Fascinating holes created by Fungi and Fire in the Tingle trees. Proceed on to Mamjimup. Long trip as well. Slept. Went to room bathed and had barbeque for dinner. I had fish, a small part of sausage and a piece of lamb. nice... I bath twice that day. When going to sleep, Li hui and I heard strange noises... but forget it... We still slept... she keep mentioning XX's name... Anyway... lucky for us, our heater is working...
Day 7
Breakfast and we're off to Ngilgi Cave, a.k.a Mammoth Cave. That place was amazing. We crept through a tunnel and woah that place is huge. The stalactics(duno how to spell) were amazing... They glow in different colours, depending on different locations. The cupid's corner: I manage to spot it and well alot of people did. THen off we go out of the cave and towards the Margeret River Chocolate Factory to buy chocolates. Bought alot of stuff... My cup was broken... Saded... Then off we go back to Perth. On the way, we stop at the Busselton jetty which is about 2 km long. We took a group photo as well. Then dinner... Also to the airport. Board the plane and came back to Singapore on Day 8. Home sweet home... :P
